This October, adidas and nu-metal band, KoRn, join forces for the most anticipated collaboration. This collaboration drops on 30th October 2023 online at JD Sports Singapore featuring the iconic adidas Campus and Supermodified.
Three decades ago, the pioneering alt-metal band hailing from California, KoRn, disrupted the established aesthetic. They broke all norms by performing with the iconic three stripes adidas tracksuits on. This opened the door for a new generation of fans.
Continuously defying conventional standards, KoRn and the Trefoil logo have maintained a longstanding connection throughout the years, as immortalized in the band’s 1996 track, “A.D.I.D.A.S.”
adidas X KoRn Campus 00
In a nod to their legacy, the adidas Campus 00s shoes receive a unique alternative metal-inspired transformation, where the devil is in the details. The Campus logo undergoes a graphic makeover, adopting the stylized lettering from KoRn’s logo.
Inside the sockliner, you’ll find a repeating graphic from their “Life Is Peachy” album, while the tongue lining bears the inscription “A.D.I.D.A.S.” from the same record. These shoes ride on a sturdy gum outsole, and the suede upper is complemented by leather 3-Stripes and a matching heel patch. To add a final, stylish touch, a guitar pick hangtag is included.
adidas X KoRn Supermodified
The adidas Supermodified shoes, initially introduced during KoRn’s rapid ascent, have established themselves as the ultimate in alternative metal footwear. What was once sported by KoRn during their live performances has now become the outcome of an exceptional partnership with the band.
Encased in a full-leather upper is a hidden gem: a graphic from the “Life Is Peachy” album, elegantly printed on the sockliner (mirrored on the outsole). Adding a final touch of flair is a guitar pick hangtag.
